Pear Chutney Recipe:

  • * 1 tomato
  • * 1 pear
  • * 1/4 onion
  • * 1 cucumber, seeded
  • * 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • * 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • * 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • * 2 Tbs olive oil
  • * cilantro/coriander
  • * ginger

 

Basic instructions :

  • Chop the tomatoes (if they’re very watery, seed them first)
  • Chop the pear without peeling it
  • Finely chop your onion
  • Mix above ingredients and add oil, cilantro and pepper
  • Seed your cucumber by cutting in half then dragging a spoon down the inside. Chop and add to other ingredients
  • Finely chop and add the ginger, then mix all the ingredients together. Add salt and lemon and leave in the refrigerator for at least a few hours before serving
