just a comment for the chocolate cravings ... chocolate contains high levels of magnesium which many many of us are lacking.  It also can very often signify protein deficiency - when most of my clients increase either magnesium and/or protein then the cravings disappear (not that it doesn&#039;t still taste great when you choose to have a nibble!!).

Thanks for writing. Cocoa has some interesting nutritional properties,
but it&#039;s still a treat. The thing that cocoa has that many people often
lack is saturated fat. Saturated fat has been given a bad name for years,
but healthy, plant-based fats are crucial to our health and your body will
salivate like an animal at the smell of saturated fats.

I like carob as an alternative. It&#039;s got boatloads of fiber and doesn&#039;t
need any sweetener to eat it. Also, I&#039;d try to incorporate some super
high quality coconut oil into your diet to fulfill your chocolate cravings
which could very well be saturated fat cravings (although it could be
sugar too:)

		<description>I have a great recipe for raw brownies.  So good!

Brownie (place all ingredients in a food processor until blended together and press into a small pan):
1 cup walnuts (or any nut and I soak overnight)
1 cup date (about 10 and I soak for 30 minutes)
1/3 cup cocoa powder

Icing (place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth)
1 avacado
1/4 cup agave nectar
1/8 cup cocoa powder
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/2 tablespoon vanilla
dash salt
dash cinnamon

Spread icing on top of brownies and freeze for 1 hour.  I keep in freezer until I want a little snack, bring it to set for a few minutes and eat a little bit. Yummmmmy!
