Nuts and Seeds:

  • Always keep your seeds and nuts in the freezer
  • Be sure to soak them after freezing – this activates the enzymes and removes any tannic acid
  • Rinse them off and note how much plumper they are
  • They’ll be much sweeter and easier to use
  • Raw almonds are a great source of calcium, protein and healthy fats
  • Always buy them raw, and soak them at home
