Gabrielle Raiz, a.k.a. “The Hot Yoga Doctor,” recently let me pick her brain about Hot Yoga, precisions, alignment, avoiding injuries, and a bunch of other very interesting topics (for a yoga nerd like me, anyway).

Alla I can say about Gabrielle is that I love her. Everyone can learn yoga but the right pose is the one which is done with the right alignment and I learnt this first time her. I consider her my virtual teacher. And another person I came to know from her is you, Lucas, and what I learnt from you is how can we advance our practice and the secret is all in the stretching guide.

I have been hooked with this site and Lucas’s postings for almost a month now. Its been really great to find a virtual yoga teacher and adviser. The tutorials and videos are truly helpful. Every time I got home from yoga class, I always read and browse Yogabody site.

Not only was this HY Precision Alignment audio course informative…it is wonderful! Answered so many questions I didn’t even realize I had. Thank you both for sharing your passion and love of yoga to so many of us……and free at that, especially in these trying economic times. I’m sure others would agree, you both are a true blessing to many of us….thank you both again. Till next time….

I’m confused about types of yoga names. Can you clarify the differeence between Astanga, Bikram, and Hot Yoga?

Is there a specific yoga type for each person? Or can we do all regardless of type? Kind of confusing.

Thank you for sharing the information. Hot Yoga is also interesting and I’ve been trying to research about it.
