Yoga Backbend Video: Dropbacks

Dear Yoga Students,

I get a lot of questions from people asking
how to do backbend dropbacks where you
go from bridge pose to standing, and then
back down… again and again.

Dropbacks are not really that difficult, but
it can be scary when you’re learning. In this
video above, I give some basic instructions
on how to practice.

Things to remember:

1. Don’t be in a hurry to get to the floor
2. Lower body strong, upper body soft
3. Hang as long as you can
4. If the floor is too far away, drop back
to the wall (or a bed) at first to practice

    Love the video, have not long received the yogabody capsules so will let you know,
    so far no allergic reaction though and that was my main concern with some of the ingredients. Being a hayfever/sinus sufferer the wheatgrass can be a problem so will
    persevere and keep checking the stretching.

    XLNT Tutorial Videos… i do The Pigeon ALL the time and didnt know that it was a Yoga Pose… The iyengar video (silent ) looks like it feels SOOOOOOO Incredibly,Deliciously, XLNT RELEASING …ima try those moves SLOOOOOOOW @ 1st of course… i also appreciate the fact that u suggested holding the poses 3+ minutes if feels So Much Better…THANK YOU=ARIGATO/SHUCKRON/SHUKRIA/ SALAMAT/GRACIAS/MERCI/SHAY SHAY/HAMS-HAMIDA/OSHAY JURUJEFF/COP COON KA/COM ON… Again & Again & Again :->

    In order to be that flexible do u have to start at an early age?….
    because im 15 and i just began stretching, im wandering if I can ever become that flexible?
